Security architecture for a restricted-access research room
Designed the security architecture for a university research environment where sensitive data must be analyzed without ever leaving the room.
Problem
Researchers needed to work with sensitive data under strict privacy obligations. The data had to be usable for analysis but impossible to exfiltrate.
Approach
A layered design covering physical access, network isolation, least-privilege accounts, controlled data ingress and egress, and audit logging, aligned with the Philippine Data Privacy Act.
Outcome
A documented architecture and operating procedures that let research proceed while satisfying data protection requirements.
